Australian Tennis Magazine is the tennis magazine for Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific region. Published since 1976, each monthly edition is available throughout Australia and New Zealand at newsagencies, and via subscription across the entire world. Dedicated subscribers are located in 76 countries. Special editions with a separate cover date are shipped directly to newstands in the USA and Asia Pacific each month. A mandarin language edition is published in China.
The magazine provides an appealing mix of international tennis news, instructional tips and analysis, off-court glamour pictures, action posters, comprehensive feature stories plus the full draw/results on the four Grand Slam events.
Australian Tennis Magazine is published by Nicholson Media Group, an independent magazine publishing house, located in Melbourne Victoria. The catch cry of the magazine for many years has been “Play it. Read it. Love it!”
The intention of Australian Tennis Magazine has always been to create the world’s best tennis magazine. To provide interest and fun for all tennis fans and to promote Australian tennis.

The celebrations in 2005 and 2006 for the 30th year publishing anniversary include a series of special feature stories in the magazine, reviewing the highlights of the past 30 years in world tennis. Back issues are available for those who missed these collector’s editions.
Consulting Editor, Alan Trengove was the founding editor in 1976 and he continues his involvement with the magazine today. His monthly column, Court Talk is regarded as Australia’s longest running continuous sports commentary column.
Over 30 years of world tennis history is reflected in the pages of Australian Tennis Magazine and early editions are highly sought after by collectors. The most popular covers include images of John Newcombe, Pat Cash and Pat Rafter, and international favourites, Stefan Edberg, Steffi Graf, Anna Kournikova and current stars, Maria Sharapova, Lleyton Hewitt, and Roger Federer.
